I rush into the Pokémon Center holding the girl in my arms. Me and Bulbasaur bring the girl and er Tepig to the attention of Nurse Joy. "What happened to her, Mister?" Nurse Joy asks me.

"She and her Tepig were attacked by a pack of eight Poochyena," I reply. She motions me to place the girl on a bed, and Bulbasaur to give Tepig to Nurse Joy. Bulbasaur does this very quickly, almost disgusted to hold a fire type. "I really can't thank you enough, I really enjoy helping Arceus' creations as much as possible."

Nurse Joy replies, "No problem, I try to help out as much as possible as well too."

So me and Bulbasaur go to get supplies at the Poké Mart. On the way out, Bulbasaur says, "Bulba, Bulba, Bulba Bulabasaur." ("Come on, admit it, she's hot to you.")*

"Oh, shut it, before I really get angry!" I said.

*Translations will now be in parentheses.

When Dante got back from the Pokemart I started to come back into consciousness. I first flexed my fingers and then started to move my hand to my eyes to rub them. I then realized something. I wasn't in my bed at my apartment. I was in a cot someplace that I didn't recognize. I opened my eyes and my vision was completely out of focus at first. As my vision got back to normal I saw a boy hovering over me. I looked at him and said, "Who the heck are you and where am I?"

I reply to the girl, "Well you can refer to me as the guy who saved your can. But in all seriousness, name's Dante, yours?

I rub my eyes again and groggily say, "My name's Lisa. You still haven't answered my other question though. Where in Kanto am I?"

Bulbasaur replies shakily, "B-Bulba Bulabasaur, Saur..."(I-I wouldn't trust her...)

I reply a little provoked, "You won't trust her cause she has fire types!"

"Bulba!"(touché!)

"Ignore Bulbasaur," I say, "as to your question, we're in Viridian City Pokémon Center."

I opened my eyes wide and said, "Crap! I need to get out of here fast. How long have I been here?" I wondered if I had been here long enough for word to travel that the leader's kid was here. If word had reached my stepfather that I was here I was screwed in more ways than one.

I start to wonder, 'Why is she so worried? She need to go sonewhere fast?' I reply, "I'd have to guess an hour, maybe half.

"Bulba Bulba Saur Saur!"(Maybe she's got a hot date!)

Now I start to get really angry, "What did I just say?"

"Saur..."(Sorry...)

I place a hand on my forehead in relief and say, "That's good. At least he doesn't know yet." I then get up and say to Dante, "So, Dante, it's time for me to get out of Viridian City. Like, now." I walk over to the tray that's holding a pokeball. I release Tepig and look down at it. It looks fully revived. I nod and say, "Come on, Tepig. We need to get out of the city." I then start to walk towards the exit.

I yell back at Lisa, "Hey, wait up. I can take you through Viridian Forest, if you want. I mean, you could get really lost in their. I can help you out." Bulbasaur goes to say something, but I glare t him, and he stops, unwillingly.

I stop and clench the pokeball in my hand. I then say to him, "Fine, as long as we get out of here quickly and you don't slow me down I guess you can come along. Just hurry." I place the pokeball back in the slot on my belt. Tepig then looks at me and says, "Tep, Tep, Tepig. Tepig, Tep."

I respond, "Don't worry, slowing will be the least of your worries." I also hear another argument at hand.

Apparently, Lisa's Tepig said, "Don't let the grass type come. He'll slow us down, with all the bug types in the forest."

Bulbasaur jumped at her Tepig, forgetting his fear of fire types, "And what's that supposed to mean, BACON STRIP!!!" The two put their heads together and glare at each other.

I look at Lisa and say, "And will you calm Tepig. I don't want them trying to kill each other."

I looked down to Tepig and said, "Calm Down, Tepig. Your time will come." Tepig took his face away from Bulbasaur's and said, "Tepig, Tep." He looked back at Bulbasaur and said, "Tepig, Tep, Tep, Tepig!" I nodded and then looked at Dante and said, "Come on, then. Let's go."

I once again listen to Tepig. "Fine, Rika," it said. So, she gave fake name... Bulbasaur was right. It also said to my Bulbasaur, "Your lucky Rika's calling me back."

I say to Rika, "Alright, Rika, let's go, and stay behind me."

My eyes twitch as I realize he somehow found out my real name. I ask him, "How in the world did you get my real name?" I couldn't believe he had somehow managed to do this without me even telling him. It didn't matter anymore I suppose but the fact that he was able to figure it out was the part that disturbed me. I followed him as we headed to Viridian Forest.
